9 Is PTE easier than IELTS?
Truth be told, PTE is a lot easier than IELTS. Firstly, you don’t have to wait for Speaking section like in IELTS. In PTE, Speaking section is the first part of the test followed by Writing, Reading and Listening. Secondly, AI-based scoring as well as other automated scoring methods are not really good at scoring content. As a result, it is beneficial for students who go through trainings/ preparation courses that teach how to score on these types of tests. Lastly, getting 50 out of 90 is equivalent to 6 out of 9 in IELTS, which is a lot easier. We speak about this from our experience providing PTE preparation tutorial classes/ courses in Australia, where many students have been successful in scoring their desired score to enroll in the courses of their preference as well as scoring enough points for PR.
